Event: Webinar: NSF Proposal Submission and Project Report Update

When:

March 8, 2013

Where:

Arlington, Virginia

Event Type:

Outreach

Changes are coming to FastLane’s proposal and project report submission processes:

  • On March 18, 2013, the NSF will completely transfer all project reporting from FastLane to Research.gov. This means that Principal Investigators (PIs) and Co-PIs will use Research.gov to meet all NSF project reporting requirements, including submission of Final, Annual and Interim Project Reports and the Project Outcomes Report.
  • On March 18, 2013 the FastLane System will begin automated compliance checking for all required sections of proposals specified, in the NSF Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG), Chapter II.C.2 of the Grant Proposal Guide (GPG).  The required sections of a proposal include:

Project Summary * Budget Justification
Project Description Current and Pending Support
References Cited Facilities, Equipment and Other Resources
Biographical Sketch(es) Data Managment Plan *
Budget Postdoctoral Mentoring Plan (if applicable) *
* These proposal sections are already being auto compliance checked at the time of proposal submission by FastLane.

To learn more about these changes, please register for our upcoming webinar on March 8 from 2:30-4 PM EST. If you would like to participate, email us at webinars@research.gov.
