About Application Submission Web Services

Research.gov’s Proposal Submission pilot allows Sponsored Projects Office (SPO) staff and Principal Investigators (PIs) to use their institution’s system to prepare and submit grant applications directly to the National Science Foundation (NSF). Application Submission Web Service seamlessly connects an institution's system to Research.gov. Institutions can connect to Research.gov using either a commercial or custom-built system as long as it has the capability to submit applications via web services.
