The Reference Letter Submission (RLS) system is used for programs that require letters of reference in support of applications for research funding. Currently these programs include the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) and selected postdoctoral fellowship programs in the Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO) and Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS). Reference Writers use the RLS system to submit the required letters of reference to NSF.
