Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) module access is managed within the Research.gov Account Management System. This allows GRFP Applicants and Fellows to do business with NSF using a unique identifier (NSF ID) and manage their own profile. The assigned NSF ID is used throughout the individual’s career in all official interactions with NSF, as an applicant, awardee (Fellow, Principal Investigator (PI), co-PI, sub-awardee, consultant), organizational representative, reviewer, or in other roles.

GRFP Applicants: All new and previous GRFP Applicants must sign in to Research.gov to access the GRFP Module.

GRFP Fellows: All GRFP Fellows must sign in to Research.gov to access the GRFP Module.

GRFP Officials: GRFP Officials should register for an NSF account and request user roles in Research.gov to conduct GRFP activities.
